Arctic Expedition at Bjorklunden – Two
February 24 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Tour this 300-acre conservation easement, which was protected in 2016 through a partnership between Lawrence University and the Door County Land Trust. This easy two mile walk will bring you along the shoreline, through a remnant boreal forest, upland hardwood forest, and past a small wind turbine that offers sustainable power for the center. Examples of the interactions of glaciers, stone and water are found throughout the protected property and offer stunning examples of why Door County is so unique.
