Nature at Dusk: Enjoy the Sights and Sounds

Join us for an enchanting evening hike where we’ll explore the world of frogs and waterfowl at Oak Road Nature Preserve. As the sun sets, the sounds of nature come alive providing the perfect backdrop for our adventure.
What to Expect:
- Guided Exploration: Our knowledgeable guides will lead us through open grasslands to a vernal pond located on the preserve. Walking approximately 1 mile of the trail over fairly-level terrain.
- Interactive Learning: Discover the fascinating life cycles of frogs, their calls, and their ecological importance. Learn about the different types of waterfowl, their behaviors, and their role in the ecosystem.
- Wildlife Watching: Keep your eyes peeled for the movements of frogs, ducks, geese, and other waterbirds as they settle in for the evening.
- Relaxed Atmosphere: Feel free to ask questions, share observations, and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.
