Autumn at Anderson Pond Walk
October 14 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
In 2012, Ephraim was designated a “Bird City.” Come discover why by joining us for a hike of the Ephraim Preserve at Anderson Pond. Located in the heart of Ephraim, the Anderson Pond Preserve contains the remains of the historic Anderson farmstead, and the surrounding forest and bluff teem with birds. The one-mile hike is on relatively even terrain, and highlights the natural splendor of the fall foliage and fungi that can be found just moments outside one of the county’s most picturesque towns. All kids attending will receive a free nature journal and outdoor activity kit at the completion of the walk.
