Join the Stewardship Crew – Oak Road Nature Preserve
October 15 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Work outdoors! Meet fellow land enthusiasts while you provide an important community service. Join us for a stewardship workday on one of the land Trust’s nature preserves or natural areas. Volunteers help steward DCLT properties by assisting with a variety of projects and tasks. These projects include tree trimming on trails, trail maintenance, invasive species removal, seed collection and dispersal, planting trees and shrubs, trash clean-up, and more.
Training will be provided at the beginning of each workday based on the planned activities. The workday location is determined by where work is needed. The duration of the workday is about two hours.
Cancellation Policy: Stewardship Workday plans are dependent on weather. We will notify anyone who registers if we need to cancel or reschedule.
