CANCELLED – Walk When the Moon is Full at Miller Conservation Easement

January 11 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

CANCELLED – Unfortunately, due to the weather we have cancelled this event. Sign up for emails to hear about future hikes and events.

Join us for a night hike adventure at the Ed and Sandy Miller Door County Land Trust Conservation Easement lit by the January full moon, known as the Wolf Moon. Experience the magic and serenity of nature at night and listen for the sounds of nocturnal animals.  Without the aid of our vision, experience how our other senses become enhanced and discover adaptations that nocturnal animals use at night.  This relatively flat terrain through grassland and forest makes for wonderful winter walking!

Trails are relatively flat and easy to traverse.  We are planning to end with a hike recap by a warming campfire.  Participants must provide their own boots.

Free • Open to the Public

Hike Leaders: Jack Finger and Marilyn Hansotia
